Let’s Journey Together and spend a Moment with Father.

I’m Linda Goldfarb, and I want to encourage and inspire your walk with the Lord. For more encouragement, please visit LindaGoldfarb.com. I’m so glad you’re here.

I’ve been stuck.

When writing a book proposal, there are portions that don’t draw from my natural abilities.

I started speaking professionally three decades ago. Speaking led to a ten-year stretch in radio broadcasting, which opened the door to writing a column in a local Christian newspaper for four years and then to write what I write today: relationally based inspiration and equipping for individuals and families. It was a natural fit.

When faced with impossible tasks, I stutter. I become mentally tongue-tied and divert my attention to what I know.

The familiar.
The less challenging.
Checking off easy boxes along the way.
Boxes that supply a false sense of accomplishment.

“I dare not allow myself to go where I may fail.”

It’s at this crossroad of mental impossibilities I must choose.

To continue walking in my own strength or to cry out to Abba. The Creator and the Establisher of my steps.

“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'” Matthew 19:26 ESV

You are most likely experiencing a similar crossroads, a place where you struggle between pie-in-the-sky dreams and the comfort of the familiar.

May I encourage you in this?

God designed you and me to dream.

He places impossible dreams in our hearts for His purpose. He doesn’t promise an easy route, yet He does promise to be on the journey of impossibilities with us.

Impossible is the cliff-edge God asks us to step over to witness His possibilities.

For us, the impossible is a mindset.

For God, the impossible is where He is every moment.

He takes the impossible and multiplies the possibilities.

I want to walk out my days in His possibilities.

This day, I choose to no longer say, “I can’t.”

This day, I see the horizon as a starting point.

This day, I will no longer self-limit God’s provision.

This day, I choose to embrace the impossible.

How about you?

Let’s journey together.

Holy Spirit, I believe in You.
Yeshua, I believe in You.
YHWH, I believe in You.
Three in One. All in all.
Counselor. Savior. Provider.
All I am Yours.
Your will, way, and timing are my desire.
Hallelujah.

Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22

May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.
