Welcome to Let’s Journey Together- a Moment with Father.

Are you persevering in life?

We’re not promised a life void of struggle and conflict. In fact, I tend to get a bit nervous when everything is going well. Not to the point of pessimism, though, because I’m reminded in the Scriptures, as a follower of Jesus, to expect suffering. And I’m encouraged not to crumple under it.

“But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life” (Jude 1:17-21 ESV).

Perseverance is possible when we build ourselves up in faith with prayer.

We are to keep ourselves in the love of God, through the mercy of Christ that leads to eternal life.

I find my daily prayer time to be the most significant gift I can give myself. This act of soul-care rejuvenates my spirit, rekindles my exuberance, and reminds me of whom I serve.

It’s a new day. How will you persevere?

Let’s journey together

Father, our hearts beat with renewed excitement to walk out the path You have for us. Guide our thoughts to a place of confident reassurance. Remove any doubts we may have of Your sovereignty. Replace any hindrance to persevere with a renewed strength to take one more step for one more day. We love You, Abba. We come before You, open to Your will, way, and timing in our lives. We praise You, our Lord of lords and King of kings. Hallelujah. Amen.

Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22

May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.
