Welcome to the Let’s Journey Together morning devotionals. I’m Linda Goldfarb, and I want to share with you encouragement to inspire your walk with the Lord. I’m so glad you’re here.

Do you recognize YHWH’s (God’s) steadfast love?

What phrases do you most often speak into those you love?

I love you?  Be careful?  Stay safe?  See you soon?

When we repeat a phrase, it’s more often said with sincerity. We really want our loved ones to trust what they hear from us.

In my house, a common response from said loved ones might be, “I know, I know,” or “I will, I will,” or “Don’t worry.” And yet, I repeat, just to be sure.

Father wants us to trust Him. He wants us to know, what we know to be true. Our ability to hear His word and immediately trust Him is beyond priceless. Trusting Father is everything.

During my reading this morning, I repeated a phrase twenty-six times. “for his steadfast love endures forever.” I slowed down through each repeat, pondering its significance.

“Give thanks to YHWH, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.  Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever.  Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever.”

Psalm 136 continues for twenty-three more verses, providing us with actions YHWH took “because” his steadfast love endures forever.

We are reminded twenty-six times that because YHWH’s steadfast love endures forever, He does what He does for us.

YHWH is good “because” His steadfast love endures forever.

He is the God of gods “because” His steadfast love endures forever. He is the Lord of lords “because” His steadfast love endures forever.

YHWH does great wonders. YHWH made the heavens. YHWH spread out the earth above the waters. YHWH made the sun, the moon, and the stars. YHWH struck down the firstborn of Egypt. YHWH brought Israel out of Egypt with a strong hand and outstretched arm. YHWH divided the Red Sea in two, and Israel passed through it. YHWH overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea.  YHWH led his people through the wilderness. YHWH struck down many great and mighty kings. YHWH gave the land as a heritage to his servant Israel. YHWH remembered Israel in their low times. YHWH rescued Israel from their foes. YHWH provided food to their flesh. YHWH is the God of heaven.
Because His steadfast love endures forever.

Where, how, and when are you experiencing YHWH’s forever-enduring steadfast love?

As you give thanks to Father each day, consider adding “for Your steadfast love endures forever.” I’d love to hear what you are thankful for —Why? Because His steadfast love endures forever.

Let’s journey together

Abba, You, are faithful in Your word to give me truth applicable to daily living.  You, O Lord, are sovereign. No matter what the world holds, You are ever-present. As I face struggles, You support me with Your right hand, and I feel Your love. Because Your steadfast love endures forever, so will I. Hallelujah.

Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22

May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do.  Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father
