Show Description.
Is it possible to love others outside the church how God wants us to? In this encore episode, Linda Goldfarb and Heather Greer discuss four barriers holding us back from loving others better.
Celebrities are being touted as saviors to many of the underprivileged and forgotten. Is the church body losing its position in loving our neighbors to the good being done by non-believers?
The good – is touching the felt needs and completely missing the spiritual mark.
The church – is meeting the spiritual and missing the felt need of their community.
We are the church, and many of us have barriers holding us back from loving the best we can. We can overcome these barriers when we do the following:
- Acknowledge His Reality
- Understand His Purpose
- Embrace His Plan
- Trust His Sovereignty
Today’s thought Consideration – when we fully rely on the Holy Spirit, His power enables us to love others as God loves them.
May YHWH bless you and keep you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb and Heather staying real about Faith and Family.
Consider the question they cover, and give your thoughts! We’d love to hear from you.

Linda, you are correct. When the church body helps those underprivileged, are they strictly within their own church or are they reaching out? Why do they have an “outreach ministry” if they don’t “reach out?” Like Heather said, “sounding gong.” I know it goes on in our town. Churches have gotten so big and think only of their religion and not the relationship. It took me a couple of years to understand why they kept saying relationship. This relationship had sustained my husband and myself and now, me, alone.
This was good session.
