How are you facing your giants?
Do you turn and give up or attack with a renewed vigor?
How are you facing your giants? Do you turn and give up or attack with a renewed vigor? #godisbigger #giantslayer Share on XRight after Jesus talked about being The Vine and that we are the branches (John 15:5), He went on to inform us that life will not be easy; giants are awaiting us.
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”
John 15:18-19 NIV
Though not every difficulty is spiritually based, every difficulty can be overcome by spiritual means. (Please know, this is not a “with enough faith” statement; it’s a God is enough statement.)
I’m reminded that my attitude about life’s giants determines my approach to life itself.
Redwood trees are amazing giants with shallow roots. A strong wind will topple loan trees. In the same way, the Holy Spirit can topple giants in our lives.
When aiming to defeat our giants, let us be mindful of He who is in us, for no one and nothing can come against Him
Are you ready to aim high?
Consider this approach
- Reject rejection.
- Stay connected with the LORD.
- Embrace your next best step.
Praise God, we’re not alone.
- We are connected to the Vine.
- He strengthens us.
- He prepares our hearts.
- He calms our fears.
Let’s journey together.
Father God, open my eyes that I might see your spiritual army.
Shore up my heart so that I can reject any negative or destructive influence.
Help me to remain calm amidst life’s chaos.
Keep me forever connected to You, my Vine.
Hallelujah.
Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22
May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.
