Is your God a big G or little g god?

Let’s Journey Together and spend a Moment with Father.  I’m Linda Goldfarb, and I want to encourage and inspire your walk with the Lord. For more encouragement, please visit LindaGoldfarb.com. I’m so glad you’re here.

As I experience the Word of God, I find distinct references between the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Most Holy God of Israel, and the other gods referenced within. (If you’re curious, do a Bible search for “other gods.”)

Life has not changed much, as other gods still strive to impact God’s creation today.

This growing preoccupation of “not wanting to offend” has played directly into the hands of the enemy. There is a trend of watering down Truth, as the little g god has become a broad brush word of spiritual correctness.

I’m reading Ezekiel, and wow, the references to how Israel turned away from God and His response to their behavior are eye-opening and heart-wrenching.

The Israelite’s faith turned to the ways of the world. They became compliant to their surroundings, ignoring all they had experienced from God.

The truth was diminished, impacting generations with spiritual misunderstandings.

Without sharing our genuine beliefs, people will not know.

Without belief in the true God, faith is misguided.

“And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Hebrews 11:6ESV

Misguided faith results in empty promises and false beliefs.

It is said, people want their lives to amount to something more than themselves, yet fail to believe in the One who “Is” more than themselves  —God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

  • Without belief in the Father—who are people praying to?
  • Without belief in the Holy Spirit—who is providing comfort?
  • Without belief in Jesus Christ—who has forgiven their sins?
  • Without belief in the Holy Trinity—who are people seeking for truth?

Yet, God always provides a way to Truth for all who seek Him.

We are the ones He uses.
Our stories are His stories.

Is Father asking you to talk more about Him?
Are friends and family members seeking truth yet are not satisfied?
Can you share your story with them?
He will provide the words for you.

Let’s journey together.

YHWH, You are my God. Help me speak with bold confidence. Guide my heart. Empower my words—open doors of opportunity to share. Strengthen my countenance. Fill me with Your Spirit. Let all I do give You glory and honor. Hallelujah.

Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22

May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.
