Welcome to Let’s Journey Together – a Moment with Father.

I’m Linda Goldfarb, and I want to share with you, encouragement and truth to inspire your walk with the Lord. For more devotionals and encouragement, please visit Linda Goldfarb.com.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Let’s love ourselves with our words.

Our word choices say a lot about who we love.

Kind words
Good words
Pleasant words
Uplifting words

These tell those around us—that we value them, love them, and care about their feelings.

Positive and face-lifting words reflect that we love ourselves.

While. . .

Snarky words
Bitter words
Harmful words
Distasteful words

…  tell those around us—we don’t love ourselves.

And if we don’t love ourselves, it’s difficult to love others with our words as they should be loved.

Be assured, my friend, we are loved.

The Lord loves us with His arms opened wide.
Therefore, let us love ourselves as well.

If we don’t love ourselves, it’s difficult to love others with our words as they should be loved. Share on X

We read in Colossians 4:6 that our words should leave a good taste in our mouths. It reads,   “Let your conversation be gracious and seasoned with salt . . .”

Consider saying these words to love yourself.

I am loved by Father.
I am valuable to Father.
I am precious in Father’s sight.

These are precious ways to remind ourselves of how much Father cares about us.

Let’s Journey Together

O Lord, help me choose words that are gracious and uplifting to those around me and to myself.
Convict my heart in the word choices I make, even when I think no one is listening.
Bring about a revival in my spirit, a renewed joy of peaceful worship, revealing how much I love You.
Thank You, Father, for your new mercies and everlasting love.
Let my words be found pleasing to You, O Lord.
Hallelujah.

May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.
