Rising early, as is my norm, I found myself smiling.

A subtle, easy smile.
The tree is lit.
The room is toasty.
The candles are glowing.
The pups are resting.
Frothed coffee in hand.
Bible open. Eyes on Him.

On this day…

I ponder the laughter of friends & family.

I’m reminded to nurture relationships.

On this day…

I’m thankful for the path ahead.

I’m reminded to keep moving forward.

On this day…

I ponder memories from years ago. 

I’m reminded of those who influenced me.

On this day…

I’m grateful for every experience.

I’m reminded that even pain has a purpose.

On this day…

I’m reminded that God created…and it was good.

No matter the path, YHWH is faithful in directing our steps this day and every day that follows.

Let’s journey together.

Thank You, YHWH, for the love I get to share with others.

Open my eyes to see beyond my circumstances.

Open my heart to feel for others and to act.

Guide my steps to walk in bold confidence.

May those who don’t know You yet, Lord, find You when they seek You.
