Show Description.
Do you need help connecting with your strong-willed child? Today’s episode covers how we can experience calm when life is complicated.
Linda and Heather discuss the four basic parenting personalities and how we can connect best with our strong-willed children.
We read in Scripture that we are to “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6 ESV).
So, what do we do when our child pushes back against our training? We engage with them, keeping in mind how God designs them to be quick decision-makers, natural leaders, and a person others can depend on. To do this, it is beneficial to discover how we are designed as their parents in order to lift their faces as they grow.
Today’s thought Consideration – A strong-willed child seeks boundaries they can trust to grow into who God designed them to be.
