Let’s Journey Together and spend a Moment with Father.

I’m Linda Goldfarb, and I want to encourage and inspire your walk with the Lord. For more encouragement, please visit LindaGoldfarb.com. I’m so glad you’re here.

There are days I struggle to be still.

To let certain situations go or to quiet my striving.

The world speaks a false narrative that tells me, if I’m still then I’m not fighting the good fight.

Whereas God’s word offers me a true narrative that if I am still, He will fight for me.

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still” (Exodus 14:14 NIV).

Does this mean I don’t have to fight the good fight alone?
I don’t have to remain in the battle day after day without rest?
I can be quiet and still advance toward the goal set before me?

Yes! That’s exactly what this means.

You and I can embrace stillness and be completely in God’s will.

Embracing stillness is a choice.

Being still.

Refusing to react.

Stepping back.

Trusting Father for His provision.

Trusting Father for His wisdom.

A choice I must make daily.

Do you want to join me?
Choose today to be still.
Choose today to witness God in the midst of the stillness.

Let’s journey together.

Abba Father, calm my spirit.
Draw me close under Your covering.
Help me this day to be still in Your presence.
Hallelujah. Amen.

Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22

May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.

    • I have been blessed in the stillness. I pray that Father blesses you in a mighty way as you pursue Him.
