How does your day begin?

Does your alarm wake you from a peaceful sleep?
Do your eyes open as your fingers slide undetected to mute the alarm before it’s time? My day usually begins with the latter.

I wake up early. Grab a cup of frothed coffee and settle in for my time with Father.

It’s the consistency of Truth I enjoy the most.

Truth is Christ.

He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

I don’t have to worry about Him changing the “rules.”
I can depend on Him to fulfill His promises.
I trust His faithfulness.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 ESV

The consistency of Christ, His unchanging presence, invites my trust to seek His will for my life. Though I walk in uncertain times, God’s unwavering love holds me close. Oh, what an amazing feeling, to wake unalarmed by the world because the Creator of this world holds me close.
