What do you know about wisdom?

In Psalm 4:7, we read, “The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.”

No matter the cost, we must gain understanding and wisdom. So where do you find it?

Job 12:13 says, “To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are His.”

Therefore, we must seek God first to find wisdom and understanding.

We are told in  James 3:13 NIV that humility comes from wisdom.

“Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.”

We must seek wisdom no matter the cost. Then, and only then, can we live a life of humility so that others will see God’s wisdom and understanding through our everyday actions.

Let’s journey together

O Lord, help me to be humble before You. I know all things are possible through You alone. Wisdom and understanding are Yours to give as You deem fit. I am a mere vessel, broken and spilled out for Your glory. Hallelujah.

Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22
