I’m so glad you’re here.

What does everlasting love look like?

As a child, I envisioned “forever and ever” with an open heart. When life was good, I wanted it to stay that way. When times got tough, I wanted the situation to go away, quickly.

Yet, an everlasting possibility eluded my thinking.

Truly a life of happily ever after only occurs in the movies. Prince Charming and his white horse, charging in to save the day works on the big screen but not in my little girl world.

As a teenager, the thought of someone loving me so much and forever drew me in so quickly.

I really wanted love.
A love that had no boundaries.
A love that was good and perfect.

Promises were made to me by young human hearts and then again, not-so-young hearts —and they all came with agendas.

Try as I might not to be drawn in, I was.

I really wanted to be loved.
But the love I experienced just brought pain.
The silent weeping-in-dark kind of pain.

Can you relate?

It wasn’t until I met my Prince of princes, that everlasting made sense. I felt like the Lord was saying to me what He said in Jeremiah 31:3 (NIV)

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”

Everlasting is a love only my Creator can provide.

I pray for you, my friend, and all you’re experiencing right now.

Hold tight to our Everlasting Father.

Allow His unfailing kindness to gently wipe away tears and bring joy back.

Times of sorrow and suffering are real …and so is God’s love for us.

How are you sharing the hope of love everlasting with others?

Let’s journey together

Praise You, Lord. Thank You for Your kindness.  Thank You for being my Prince of Peace and my All in all.  Your mercies are new every morning, and Your ways, though not mine, are true. I love You, Abba. Help me to be open with others about Your love. Guide my heart into willing obedience that I may share with abandon who You are and how much You love Your children. Give me Shalom. Hallelujah.

Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves, do what it says. James 1:22

May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.
