Let’s Journey Together and spend a Moment with Father.

I’m Linda Goldfarb, and I want to encourage and inspire your walk with the Lord. For more encouragement, please visit LindaGoldfarb.com. I’m so glad you’re here.

There’s a wave of resistance weaving its way through the world, stealing God’s ultimate freedom from under us.

Consider what independence means—freedom.

Do you consider the ability to walk carefree around your neighborhood as freedom?

When you walk into a grocery store and you’re only purchase limitation is the amount of money you choose to spend, does this represent freedom?

  • A roof over your head. A pillow to lay your head on. Freedom?
  • The opportunity to stand on a street corner and express your concerns, doubts, and preferences—freedom?
  • Your option to embrace Christ or deny Him, is this freedom?
  • God loves us so much; His plan includes our freedom.

His plan includes independent thought.

His plan includes our ability to choose.

“He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.” Ephesians 1:7 NLT

Whatever we are doing at this moment, God has given us the freedom to do it, to express it, to embrace it, and to consider our options.

God could have created us as robotic beings—individuals who never question, never doubt, never disobey—and yet, because of His kindness and grace, He gave us free will—the ability to choose.

Our ultimate freedom?

Freedom from death through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Let’s journey together.

Father, Your kindness is abundant.
Your grace covers all my flaws.
I stand in awe of the cross.
I weep at the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
My sins—past, present, and future are forgiven by His righteousness.

Thank You.

Life can be so hard, yet I feel Your loving presence. I know I’m not alone.

Thank You, Lord.

You paid the ultimate price for me, my forgiveness, my freedom —thank You.

Help me never to forget the ONE who brought my freedom.
The ONE who paid the price.
The ONE who set me free.
Hallelujah.

Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22

May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.

God’s freedom of free will to choose is our only true ultimate freedom. All other freedoms come with a string attached to it or based on physical life circumstances. Yes, we live in a “free” country yet there is so much control to this freedom. Insurance companies dictate what is covered and not covered. Finances are controlled by the state of the economy therefore there really is no true freedom in what I can purchase if the cost of living grows closer to equaling my income. As the gap between income and outgo closes tighter more freedom is removed in life choices. I am thankful our freedom in God is forever the same.

    • I hear you, Teresa… we live in challenging times for sure. Free will to choose Jesus is indeed the ultimate freedom. I pray that Father blesses you beyond measure and that all of your health issues get resolved to His glory. Blessings, my friend!
