Welcome to Let’s Journey Together- a Moment with Father.

I’m Linda Goldfarb. Every weekday, I’m honored to encourage and inspire your walk with the Lord. For more devotionals and encouragement, please visit Linda Goldfarb.com. I’m so glad you’re here.

When was the last time you called upon the Lord —in truth?

In truth, I’ve been calling out a lot lately. And how amazing it is to know, I mean really know, the faithfulness of God in my calling out.

Truth — when I call out, God is near.
Truth — when I call out, God’s agenda is my desire.
Truth — when I call out, I can know God in a personal way.

“The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.”  Psalm 145:18 NKJV

When we call upon the Lord, with the right motives, honest desires, and a willingness to walk in His way, He draws near to us. Hallelujah.

How does this make you feel?

When we cry out in emotional discord, with negative motives, unwilling to change or repent of our ways, we pull away from Him.

Have you felt this way?

These are truths I hold on to:

God loves me. God is merciful. God is just.
God is not my slave. God is not a puppet.
God is the Almighty Creator. His Way is perfect.

Yeah, some mornings, I wake up to hard-hitting truths. I share as He leads, in hopes that we all may be encouraged to read the word of truth for ourselves. In that way, truth becomes personal.

Let’s journey together.

Father God, forgive me when I’m so consumed by my life that I discard Who You are. Help me to turn to You, to seek You with all my heart, to know You more. Praise You, for You are good. You make the path ahead of me straight. You protect me in the invisible realm. Your word is a lamp unto my feet. You set my feet on solid rock. In You, I trust, always. Amen.

Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22

May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do. Until next time, this is Linda Goldfarb, and I’m so glad we are on this journey together with Father.
